Wear Your Label

It’s no secret that I have struggled with an eating disorder. It was made clear over a year ago on my twitter, Instagram, and blog. It took over my life to the point

of where I couldn’t talk about anything BUT food and my weight. I’ve struggled with it for as long as I can remember, until last summer.

Last summer, I realized that with love and support from my friends and family, my weight doesn’t define me! Sure, it’s important to keep a good physique in order to stay healthy, but obsessing over every cookie I ate is not the meaning to life - creating memories, loving yourself and those around you, and of course, enjoying great food along the way is what it’s all about.

I wanted to create this post with Wear Your Label because I feel comfortable wearing MY label. Yes, I had an eating disorder, yes it took control of my life, BUT I overcame it. Without my journey I wouldn’t be anywhere as strong and confident as I am today.

Wear Your Label was co-founded by individuals who have been affected by mental illeness. They bring awareness to the stigma surrounding mental illness, through fashion! It’s clothes that actually make you feel better.
