BEAUTY WEEK: to dye or not to dye?

Blondes do have more fun.. but do blondes with split ends and damaged hair have more fun?!

It's easy to get carried away with highlights and coloring, especially being a blonde. Trust me, I know. I did it. And you know what? It's horrible. F$%*#% horrible. Your hair deserves so much better!!

Post-chop I made it my mission to keep my hair away from the salon.

I now get my hair done every 3 months or so. Maybe more depending on my mood.

I had begun to do a balayage look about 2 years ago. I love it because it lets my natural hair grow without overdoing the bleach every month.

I actually read somewhere that Cara Delevingne doesn't dye her hair often as well. I think she goes 4 months without it?

My goal for my hair is to be enhanced, not ruined. I don't understand how someone can continuously bleach their hair and then wonder why their hair doesn't grow.. HELLO?? It doesn't take a rocket genius to figure it out.

Dying my hair will always be one of my favorite things about being a girl. It's total zen. But controlling the amount of times I visit and do coloring is CRUCIAL for long-term hair growth and strength.
