Skinny Sat: Sweet Tooth?

The holiday season is my enemy. I can't stop eating cookies and Godiva - so healthier options are a must-have accessory. ps. Subscribe here!!

1. Macarons - not only are they photogenic, but also hold flavor in 70-100 calories. They are perfect for portion control and adorable to eat. #instagramworthy

2. Dark Chocolate - lacks all the sugar and milk of milk chocolate and can be healthy in moderation. Dark chocolate is packed with antioxidants and can even help manage stress levels. Heavenly :)

3. Bubble Gum - If I have the WORST cravings at night, I grab sugary gum. It fools me into thinking I've eaten some sugar! 

4. Hot chocolate - easy way to kill the cravings if taken in moderation. Just don't kill it with chocolate syrup! 

5. Trail mix with dark chocolate pieces - I occasionally indulge. Plus it has good nutritional value. Beware: nuts have SO many calories so don't over do it by eating the whole bag. 

6. Banana Butter rice cake - favorite breakfast food! Mash ½ a ripe banana until mushy, and swirl in a teaspoon of peanut butter. Spread on a rice cake, and enjoy! 

7. Frozen fruit - I love frozen blueberries and grapes. Just stick them in the freezer for a few hours. 

8. Chocolate dipped strawberries - Heaven on Earth. Spoil yourself a little :)
