Homemade Face Mask

Cleopatra's and my secret for healthy, glowing skin. :)

I must confess I've had my fair share of acne while growing up and while being a grown up. My skin is literally acne prone. I can touch my skin and a zit will pop out. I've struggled with this for years until only recently. I've learned that prevention and maintenance are the key to healthy skin.

I take photos almost everyday on top of meeting clients and going to events, it really sucks when I have break outs. It's embarrassing and just overall ruins my mood. Something I've fell in love with recently is clay masks. They are SIMPLE, CHEAP, and effective. A caveman could do it, and what if they did??

I've mentioned before that I have really oily skin, and during the summer it gets even worse. I have to use some sort of extraction and/or scrub to help aid my skin. This bentonite clay masks acts as a "negative" to the "positive" in toxics. The masks firms your skin and pulls the toxins right out leaving it fresh and noticeably softer and less bumpy.

How much to make?
I put two spoons of clay and a few table spoons of water, depends on how thick I want it to be. A little goes a long way.

How to apply:
I mix the clay with a glass spoon. NO METAL. Metal will cause a reaction with the clay. I use my fingers to apply a thin layer and let it dry for 15-20 min. If my skin feels dry after the mask I use my moisturizer.

How often?
I use it 1-2 times a week. Don't want to dry out my skin!

How much does it cost?
It's super cheap to grab this bottle for about $15? I mix it with water for no irritation.
