Harrison Hot Springs Resort&Spa

With all the traveling I've been doing lately, working out, plus my bad posture, my back and neck have totally turned against me. Last week, my back pain was so extreme that I couldn't even bend over or sit for long periods of time. On top of that, it caused

me to turn into an insomniac (partially). I had nothing left to loose so I decided on a "girls" weekend at Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa in Canada, BC for relief.

Upon arrival, I did not find Drake. The spa and resort are overall quiet and cute. The new remodel is well balanced between old and new, but still has much of the original feel. However, I was slightly medicated due to extreme pain in my lower back while arriving, so I did what any person in their right mind would do: schedule an 80 min deep-tissue massage. I also went back for a reflexology massage the next day.

I like firm, deep massages and my masseuse did not fail. The lower back and back were an overall 3.8 stars up until she massaged my neck. 4.6/5 stars. I was reborn. The best part - the mineral hot spring pools all vary in temperature from hot to cool.

These pools are a place of healing and serenity. These springs contain minerals that help with back and joint pain, as well as other diseases. They detoxify and rejuvenate. It also did wonders for my skin, clearing all blemishes and even helped my back! This was a weekend of healing and releasing negative energy. The views, the weather, and the spa, (the shopping on the way back), all made this a MUCH needed weekend. My back is seriously so much better!

Hope you guys are liking the new layout, my developer has been making changes all week! P.S. Next week is going to be full of surprises :)
